Privacy Policy

How VisaKlaro handles member identity, personal Visa Tracker data, Community activity, social sign-in, and deletion choices.

Effective August 18, 2026Independent information & applicant tracking platform

1. About VisaKlaro

VisaKlaro is an independent visa information, application tracking, and applicant community service. VisaKlaro is not an embassy, immigration authority, visa application center, or government agency.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use VisaKlaro, we may collect:

  • Account information: your name, email address, social sign-in provider, provider-specific account identifier, and profile image URL.
  • Visa Tracker information: destination, visa type, application center, submission dates, current status, status history, decision dates, processing days, and information you choose to add to your application timeline.
  • Community information: questions, comments, replies, Helpful reactions, applicant updates, and related timestamps.
  • Technical and security information: session identifiers and basic request/log information that may be generated when you use the website for security, troubleshooting, and service operation.

3. Facebook and Google sign-in

VisaKlaro may let you sign in with Facebook or Google. For normal sign-in, VisaKlaro uses basic account information needed to create or match your membership, such as your provider account identifier, name, email address, and available profile image. VisaKlaro does not need your Facebook friends, birthday, likes, photos, hometown, or similar extended permissions for standard member login.

Signing in connects your VisaKlaro membership to the selected provider. VisaKlaro does not post to your Facebook or Google account as part of normal sign-in.

4. How we use information

  • to create and authenticate your VisaKlaro membership;
  • to save and display your personal Visa Tracker;
  • to operate Community questions, replies, reactions, and applicant updates;
  • to distinguish verified applicant activity from general member activity where appropriate;
  • to calculate aggregated, community-reported processing statistics;
  • to protect the service from spam, abuse, fraud, and security incidents; and
  • to maintain and improve VisaKlaro.

5. Public and community visibility

Your account email is not intended to be displayed publicly in the Community. When you choose to share a Visa Tracker timeline with the Community, VisaKlaro may display application context such as visa type, application dates, status, application center, and processing timeline while keeping the tracker identity anonymous unless a future feature clearly asks you to publish additional profile information.

Questions, comments, replies, and other content you intentionally post to the Community may be visible to other visitors.

6. Official data and community data are separate

VisaKlaro keeps verified official-source information conceptually separate from user-reported Community data. Community timelines and statistics do not become official government information merely because they appear on VisaKlaro.

7. Service providers and third parties

VisaKlaro may use third-party infrastructure and authentication services to operate the platform, including hosting, email, analytics, security, Facebook Login, and Google Sign-In. Those providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies when you use their services.

8. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account and application history, protect platform integrity, resolve disputes, meet applicable obligations, and preserve legitimate aggregated statistics. Where appropriate, information may be deleted or de-identified.

9. Your choices and deletion requests

You may stop sharing a Visa Tracker with the Community where that option is available. You may also request deletion of personal data associated with your VisaKlaro account. See the User Data Deletion page for instructions.

10. Security

VisaKlaro uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect account and application information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please avoid posting sensitive passport numbers, financial account numbers, passwords, or other unnecessary confidential information in Community content.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as VisaKlaro develops. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published.

12. Contact

Privacy contact email is being configured. Before public launch or app review, set VISAKLARO_PRIVACY_EMAIL in the server environment to a monitored public contact inbox.
